Diving Equipment Order and Purchase Policies
Diving Equipment Conditions of Use
Diving is a potentially hazardous activity, that if practiced incorrectly or with incomplete planning and procedures can expose a person to considerable risks including serious injury or DEATH. It requires specialized training, equipment, and experience. DESCO recommends the guidelines established by the Association of Diving Contractors Consensus Standards for Commercial Diving Operations, as well as OSHA and USCG Federal Diving Regulations.
NOTE: No standard will ever exist which can substitute for common sense, sound judgment, and a continuing concern for maximum safety.
SAFETY IS NOT A RULE BOOK. IT IS A STATE OF MIND.
Every new diving helmet shipped by DESCO Corporation is as safe, reliable and simple to operate and maintain as possible. You can expect many years of trouble free service if you properly handle and take care of your DESCO diving helmet. However, even with this being said, the simplicity and reliability of our diving helmets should not lull a diver into complacency. All of our diving helmets should receive regular care and maintenance to keep them in top condition.
DESCO diving helmets are designed with the best combination of attributes providing all around satisfactory performance. No diving helmet should be “field modified”. DESCO will work with you to customize a safe and reliable modification if special requirements are needed. We have always been sensitive to the needs of the diving industry as evidenced by the variety of diving helmet styles we offer. DESCO continually strives to make diving equipment better, safer and more user friendly. We welcome comments and suggestions from diving companies, regulating agencies and especially divers, whose safety is our ultimate goal.
