DESCO Fisheries Deep Sea Diving Helmet
The DESCO Fisheries helmet is another design based on a Morse helmet using the heavy helmet platform. It's main feature is a large curved window. On the Morse helmet the window is the same unit used on the Morse Shallow Water Diving Helmet.
The DESCO Fisheries Diving Helmet is a heavyweight commercial helmet.
The air inlet and exhaust valve are Mark V type.
The helmet lock is a spring loaded commercial style.
Tin plating is standard but the fisheries diving helmet can be ordered polished ($250.00 additional).
Approximate shipping weight 50 lbs.
It can be ordered as a lightweight helmet with a Sponge style top shell and breastplate, which will fit lightweight dress collars. Call DESCO for pricing.
Options:
Air Control Valve
This helmet can be fitted with an integrated air control valve. The ductwork is replaced with tubing and the air is fed through a diffuser.
Communications
The helmet can be fiited with communications in various configurations.
