This cap is made to fit the air inlet on the TF 12 & TF 3 Diving Helmets. The threading is 1.025 - 14. This cap shares the base part number with the standard Air Inlet Cap (23059) but has a CH suffix. CH is also stamped onto the cap. This marking is used on all DESCO made Chinese fittings. Another differnce between the standard cap and the Chinese cap is the standard cap has a relief cut around the top opening which the Chinese cap does not have. This cap is useful in sealing the air inlet from dirt and insects while the helmet is displayed or stored, and to protect the inlet threads during transport. A leather gakset is supplied with the cap.
