The US Navy Mask (Jack Browne) was fitted with a 3 Way Valve which had a breather bag attached to it. It was believed the breather bag would level out pulsations in the air feed and give a few breaths of air in an emergency. Neither was the case so the breather bag was abandoned. This cap closes off the breather bag port on the valve. The cap come with a leather gasket installed.
