This assembly comes complete with the upper and lower cast iron handle shafts, wood handle (unfinished), retaining screw, and four square bolts and nuts.

NOTES: Morse originally offered two lengths for the upper handle shaft, 14 1/2" and 18 1/2". This assembly has the 14 1/2" shaft. The 18 1/2" shaft is not available. This assembly has a splined joint to attach it to the pump and join the handle segments. Early #4 air pumps used a socket joint to attach the handle to the pump and join the shaft segments together. This type of handle is not available. 

The wood handle is sold unfinished so it can be color matched by the customer to a mounting board if the pump is so equipped. The customer can also choose to spar varnish, shellac, or Danish Oil the handle to their preference. It is recommended before any finish is applied the handle be allowed to acclimate to the local conditions. They are stored in a plastic bin at the factory which is a dry environment.
