Product Features
The Viking HAZTECH dry suit is a lightweight robust suit for diving in hazardous water conditions, particularly where there may be a danger of heat exhaustion in warm water or hot climatic conditions. Made from a lightweight and robust material, this dry suit is equipped to withstand harsh elements. The high frequency welded seams provide maximum strength and safety for deep sea divers. The easy to clean exterior surface offers a low maintenance dry suit allowing for additional time to spend diving. Each Viking HAZTECH dry suit comes supplied with suspenders, carry bag, user manual, repair kit and zip care materials.
Unique Viking HAZTECH Dry Suit Features
- TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) outer layer in red, single coated onto a black knitted nylon fabric.
- Total material weight is approximately 483 g/m2
- Red with black reinforcements
- A 90 cm long medium duty PU zipper is placed across the shoulders
- The zipper is high frequency welded to the suit
Viking HAZTECH Dry Suit Valves
Standard configuration includes the following mounted on rubber backing discs:
- Push protected inlet valve, positioned centrally on the chest
- Hose: CEJN fitting, 80 cm long
- Viking X2 exhaust valve with double check valves (Built from chemical resistant PC/PBT material)
Viking HAZTECH Dry Suit Neck Seal
The Viking HAZTECH is fitted with a Surveyor latex neck seal as standard. As alternative dry suit options, Desco offers a Bellows latex neck seal or a quick connect collar system which allows for quick changing of broken seals.
- QC collars are NOT recommended for contaminated water diving operations
Viking HAZTECH Dry Suit Hood Options
Viking HAZTECH suits may be fitted with a wide range of hood options as follows:
- Surveyor latex hood + thermal inner hood
- Nautic neoprene hood with smooth face seal
- Smooth skin hood (these are not recommended for contaminants other than biological)
- Magnum HDS hood or Turbo HDS hood
Viking HAZTECH Dry Suit Cuffs
Latex PRO cuffs are the standard fitment. Alternatively the dry suit can be fitted with a HDS rubber cuff ring system or the Viking Bayonet Ring System. Both systems make the fitment of latex gloves or mittens possible.
Viking HAZTECH Dry Suit Footwear
Rubber coated 5 mm neoprene boots are fitted as standard.
Alternative boot options are available.
